Some of the e-book ideas have interactive whiteboard templates with videos which show you how to use these templates to support you teach Government and Politics.

Pull a collection of objects that represent an idea or
an ideology or a political party out of a bag. The students then try and figure out which party or idea the objects represent.

Spot the deliberate mistakes. Display a piece of text with
which the students should be familiar. Make some mistakes. Ask the students to spot the mistakes.

This activity can be carried out on Interactive Whiteboard
using the deconstruct text technique. Click on the spot the mistakes tab to see a video which shows you how to deconstruct words from a piece of text.

Take a piece of text such as Clause 4 of the Labour Party Constitution or the Bill of Rights and get students to pick out the most significant five words. Zoom in on small pieces of detail and then expand the discussion from there.

You could use wordle to help you choose the words.
 
If you are not using a wordle, this activity can be carried out on Interactive Whiteboard using the deconstruct text technique. Click on the play with words tab to see a video which shows you how to deconstruct words from a piece of text.

Take two ideas that you want to compare such as old
Conservatism and the New Right or Socialism and Liberalismor AV and FPTP and draw a Venn diagram showing the differences between the two and the similarities.
